EnviroStars
Nationally recognized, the EnviroStars Program certifies
businesses for reducing, recycling, and properly managing hazardous waste.
The program was created in King County, Washington, in 1995 and has expanded
to include Whatcom County and many other counties in the Puget Sound region.
Businesses certified by EnviroStars are given a two-to-five star rating based on their demonstrated commitment to reducing hazardous waste. The higher the star rating, the more proactive the business has been, and the more recognition they receive.
Bellingham Automotive has once again earned a 
5-star rating
from the EnviroStars program for demonstrating proper hazardous waste
management, setting specific goals to recycle all waste oil, involving our
employees, as well as evolving our business practices and products
to reduce hazardous waste. This year, we've also added hybrid vehicles to our fleet of shuttle cars. Bellingham Automotive has made hazardous waste and emissions prevention a priority in our operations, marketing and management systems.
Bellingham Automotive will continue to strive toward the ideals of the EnviroStars program and further our commitment to the environment.
