EnviroStars
Nationally recognized, the EnviroStars Program certifies
businesses for reducing, recycling, and properly managing hazardous waste.
The program was created in King County, Washington, in 1995 and has expanded
to include Whatcom and many other counties in the Puget Sound region.
Businesses certified by EnviroStars are given a two-to-five star rating based on their demonstrated commitment to reducing hazardous waste. The higher the star rating, the more proactive the business has been, and the more recognition they receive.
Bellingham Automotive has received a 
rating
from the EnviroStars program for demontrating proper hazardous waste
management, set specific goals to reduce hazardous waste, involved their
employees, as well as modified their business practices and products
to reduce hazardous waste and have incorporated waste prevention directly
into their operations, marketing, management and accounting systems.
Bellingham Automotive continues to work with their suppliers and EnviroStars to further their commitment to the enviroment.
